sixty-seven

i had my 1st hanabi experience in japan last week.It was my second visit to yokohama, it is as beautiful as always.We ( more than 10 of us) reached yokohama around 4pm.Actually the real show starts only at 1920 but by the time we reached the whole area is full of people d!! so we separated into 3 groups and start hunting for place…it was hard.We go around like stepping on other people’s mat and they watch us like we wanted to take their place.they all had come to book place very early in the morning…all of them were like camping there.eating,drinking,sleeping , kissing , hugging…etc .after some 30 mins finally found a place but it is just behind a tree means we cant see anything…sigh…u know it blocks our view of hanabi.anyway when we left saw some real desperado grab up that place too.It is like the front seat in a cinema.second place was not bad…and we decided to watched from there…and we got a friendly neighbor too.one of them is peru ppl.they gave us free uchiwa(small　fan like those u get in bon odori).Suddenly our senpai said found a better place and we shifted.it was really a nice spot…some 30 mins walk.Actually feel kind of heavy hearted too to left when we had such a good conversation with our neighbour.then we bought some food and drinks.

   

sharp 1920 the hanabi starts.at first everybody was like wow..hey look at that…so beautiful…clap hands..etc !! then after 30 mins…boredom creeps in you know fireworks for 1hour plus….compare to msia merdeka day which lasts i think less than 15 mins.

i had to admit though it was a special hanabi show…and feel rewarded of going.got fireworks which shape up like cat face(they say is doraemon), hat , smiley face , …etc. Hanabi ended at 2020 sharp too and all of our camera like dead…u know if not out of battery it is out of memory…haha!! then after hanabi…we headed home.But it took so much time…it is so crowded and all the pushing , taking places , slipping through…all　those tactic learned from UTM bus life come in handy!!Was really worn out and only eat our dinner when reach home…in the 0002am like that !! was tire and the next day have to go to japanese primary school to some more.some kind of exchanging program….japanese rarely see a foreigner so we just go and show our face…hoho!!talk bout agoin next time…it was really funnyand enjoyable  too !!

I had my first homestay in japan…or sud be called as mini homestay cox only for the weekend only.Almost all new foreigners in Chiba took part.brazilian , italian,honduras etc. I was chosen to spend the weekends with a family consists of 5 members..2 very small kid ( my japanese even better than them…haha i win over native speaker ) 1 very cute DOG.their house sud be considered big in japan standard….smth like this :

yup…it is double storey and have its own front yard !!

my room is big..(like utm kolej2 room 4 me alone)

the interior design was nice too…my foster father designed himself.

1st day,i was being invited to go for bowling…y on earth ppl always ask me to go 4 bowling as wif they noe tat im weak.Being polite i agreed n here i go another shameful bowling outing.(at this moment i act think of really learn how to bowl) adults bowl at own lane n kids the other, i was last in the adult category…and when i look at kids score…gosh !! when i was thinking to get back some self-confidence…i was shocked kids aged 3 was better than me..WAT !!!look closely they were act using some machine to help them bowl…i was relieved !! ya…d machine look like this :

well…in the bowling center act my foster family arranged a msian to meet me.she is a chinese msia n married to a japanese with 2 lovely kids.We talked alot in cantonese…and she said she almost forgot cantonese…thanks me 4 reminding her.then the whole evening spend in my new home!!most of d time playing with their home dog n d 2 little kids.

So that night they prepared a delicious dinner 4 me…shashimi , sushi, n alot typical jap food !! and they invited another family to join also.1 of their family fren a woman was SO open minded that she suggested we all go to OFURO together…i know it is a japanese custom but hey woman n men…huh?? i dunno it sud be considered lucky or wat …but it was quickly called off by my foster saying maybe im not used to it. fuuu…

The next day , we went to a kisarazu matsuri ( some sort of celebration )!!there was alot of ppl…and was fun.smth like this:

later the whole evening spend in my foster home again…no choice small kids cant go far.futhermore their son was act sick !! had some nice chat with them and finally after dinner i was sent home by them.but when i was going to leave…the 3 yrs old kid perform a goodbye dance for me…n said leeonichan matakitene ( pls come again) was so sweet !!im touched n promised to visit again !! overall it was a memorable experience…..what do u think?

i was actually wondering wanna write this or not…cox it is quite a shame story. sensenshuu , i entered school bowling event. me , my tutor and a aunty..oops i mean one of d office staff of d school make up a team of 3 ! but we act compete against each other individually…there is prize 4 no.1,2,3 and boobi !! boobi means 2nd from d last.only japan have this kind of prize…i dunnoe but it is a good way to motivate beginners !! knowing that my skill so suck that first place will be an unreachable sight…so my only hope is boobi !!

when everybody is striking i got dead turkey…turkey means hattrick of strike but cox i got nth for 3 games straight so i named it dead turkey…haha !!( the longkang is clean thanks to me ) when the 1st game finished n i look at others…woopss i was in d pole position to get prize !! im leading from d back…sud i be happy though ??

and in the 2nd game…my dead turkey lay more eggs n i created record 4 being duno how many games as drain washer !! ppl around me acting nice n offered me advice…but hey so wat im here 4 boobi…haha

finally d game is over and when evbody is complaining they cant get even 100 in 1 game…i was wondering y all my games plus up oso lower than 100…huhuhu !!then only i realised even boobi is a far sight 4 me…i was trailing behind boobi !!

when im remorsing suddenly the manager asked did any1 forgot their things ?? u noe wat…it is a shoe…n it was my shoes means that i was wearing the bowling shoes all the while OUTDOOR !! was so embarassed…..

anyway a good memory though…haha
